ABOUT US

Bryan Bodhaine, CPA

Bryan has been working as a financial professional since he graduated from college in 1996. His career started at Deloitte & Touche in the audit group where he gained experience auditing hi-tech and pre-IPO companies. He also spent time in the tax division doing high-wealth individual, partnership, and corporate tax returns.

He then worked as the Controller of an Public $1B International Telecom company where he was responsible for the management of the corporate accounting group and preparation of the consolidated financial statements, and all annual and quarterly filings as required by the SEC. He also participated in the negotiations, valuation and due diligence for the sale of a subsidiary for more than $150M.

He then worked as Corporate Controller of a Public Telecom Equipment reseller where he oversaw the accounting, finance, payroll and tax functions. While there he assisted with two acquisitions and the successful integration of their accounting operations into the corporate office

After experience with Public Companies and SEC compliance, he moved on to a boutique Private Equity firm with more than $1B in assets under management. He was there 4 years as a Senior Director in the Corporate Finance department. While there he was involved with the due diligence of several acquisitions, created an investment track record as required to raise a $400M fund, and created consolidated financial statements, budgets and cash flow forecasts. During his tenure there he also spent time as the CFO of a medical products subsidiary, where he was instrumental in positioning that company for a $35M sale to a Fortune 500 company.

Most recently Bryan has focused on providing high-level yet affordable finance, tax and accounting leadership to start-up and smaller companies. He recognizes the need all companies have for high quality finance and accounting assistance yet the desire to avoid the high price tag that typically accompanies these services. While Big 4 and even local consulting firms typically charge anywhere from $200-$800/hour, Bryan works with his clients to find the right blend of cash and equity compensation to ensure all parties are equally incentivized.
